Yachtsun Mediterranean yacht charter sailing area extends from Corfu in the North to Zakynthos in the South. Our main fleet of Mediterranean charter yachts are based at Lefkas from here you can sail north to Preveza and Parga or on to Paxos and Corfu in the Northern Ionian Sea, or south to Cephalonia, Ithaca and for a longer cruise onto Zakinthos. The cruising area offers sufficient interest for a quick one week’s Mediterranean charter or an extended four weeks Mediterranean cruising holiday.

The fleet comprises of yachts from 27' to 50' based at two locations on Lefkas Island in the Ionian.

At Lefkas Marina we have a fleet of Bavaria yachts, all the yachts here are available for  Bareboat Charter, Skipper Charter & Flotilla Skipper Charter, where the skipper sleeps on the flotilla lead yacht overnight, leaving you to have the yacht to yourselves when not sailing. The marina location offers the advantage of shore power to all the yachts, so fridges are cold and domestic water is warm, batteries fully charged  when you arrive. Standard equipment on all yachts here includes rigged bottom dinghies, lowering fixed gangways, Bimini, and extra batteries for extended running of the refrigerator.

At Nidri Town, from a Pontoon base, we offer a wider selection of yachts still including Bavaria but also Oceanis and Sun Odyssey yachts. There is the option with yachts from Nidri, to join the Assisted Bareboat Charter route, to benefit from help with your evenings mooring and that little extra backup while still bareboat sailing.  

In the northern Ionian, at Gouvia Marina, Corfu  we offer Bavaria yachts for bareboat charter and four classic yachts from 27' to 38' in truly first class condition for a more individual sailing experience, these yachts are available for bareboat charter or there is the option to join a northern Ionian flotilla

If you are thinking of your first  Mediterranean charter, then the Ionian is the perfect destination. There is the opportunity to visit different islands each day without long sales and so keep all the family or crew happy. The Ionian is almost an inland sea, its many islands providing constant interest as you sail from one overnight stop to the next. At Yachtsun we can offer help with planning your first charter holiday with suggested routes and places to visit.. Which harbours you can expect help with mooring and where extra care should be taken. Many skippers prefer to join a flotilla for their first charter, our standard Sunny Sailing flotilla route from Lefkas would be the ideal choice providing enough sailing for the keen sailors while providing interest for those in the crew who may just be aboard for the sun.

Our Mediterranean yact charter yachts are prices are per yacht, they do not include flights but we can organise these for you if required; the total price often being far less than per person pricing.
