The sailing area is from Zandar in the North to Dubrovnik in the South providing the opportunity to visit a vast range of islands. Croatia is truly a land of islands, it has more than a thousand of them each different in their own way. 

The following are an example of areas within in a one or two weeks cruise from Split or Dubrovnik :

Ornate ( Tealcircašćica ) -  60nm north of split there is a national park of exceptional beauty, made up of 147 islands, there are also vineyards around Primošten  15nm from Split. The densely populated area on mainland between Split and Šibenik offers a variety of night life.

Island Brač – just 15nm from Split, famous for its sandy beach and active night life, its many restaurants and good food make it a very popular place with the locals.

Island Hvar and Pakleni Otoci - 30 nm from Split there is the charming old town of Hvar, tourist settlement of Jelsa, pine woods, fish specialities, and good wine.

Island of Vis – 25nm from Hvar, dating from the 4th century, has sandy beaches and is a popular interesting area for diving, Biševo (Blue Cave) another natural phenomena, Komiža village of friendly fisherman’s.

Korčula – 50nm from Dubrovnik this old town has some unique architecture and is the birth place of world globetrotter Marco Polo. There are also many small villages with there own specific local customs and vineyards.

Peninsula Pelješac - known for its salt ponds, oysters and mussels farms, fabulous food specialities and the vineyards of Plavac Mali.

Island of Lastovo - with the island Palagruza, the last frontiers of Croatia before Italy, it sits in splendid isolation.

Island of Mljet – 35nm from Dubrovnik a national park with two salty lakes, surrounded with pine woods, many restaurants but also many places to hide in.

The rest of Elaphite islands on the way to Dubrovnik, Šipan, Lopud, Koločep, are very easy to reach and perfect for stay during the day and swimming in crystal clear sea.

Lokrum - botanical garden and monastery on the small island just near Dubrovnik.

The fleet is based at ACI Marina located in the south western part of Split harbour north of Sustipan peninsula. At extra cost some charters may start from ACI Marina Dubrovnik and all yachts are available for bareboat yacht charter or Skipper and Skipper/Hostess Charter

Split is a city port in Central Dalmatia situated on a peninsula between the eastern part of Kastela and Split Channel. The  fleet is well maintained by experienced staff, who speak English, German & Italian. To maintain a high level of service one member of the staff is allocated to each yacht to be responsible for its cleanliness and preparation for each charter. 

At the beginning of each charter a full yacht and equipment briefing is given along with information about weather forecasts, advice and guidance about sailing routes. The facilities at the ACI marina include a reception office, currencey exchange, restaurant, snack bar & toilets. 

Charters start on Saturdays, you will be able to board your yacht no later than 17:00 hrs, this allows time to prepare your yacht after the previous charter.  All yachts should be returned to the yacht base by 17:00 hrs the evening before. On the last day of your charter, you will be required to disembark at 09:00 hrs.
